HOPE

  • New beginnings and new opportunities are on the way. You just have to keep seeing and believing beyond your current circumstances.
  • Keep going, even when you feel like you can’t take another step.
  • Be okay with not knowing for sure what might come next, but know that whatever it is, you will be okay.
  • You will get there when you are meant to get there and not one moment sooner…so relax, breathe, and be patient.
  • Your past is just a lesson, not a life sentence.
  • The hardest walk is walking alone, but it’s also the walk that makes you the strongest.
  • Someday you’re gonna look back on this moment of your life as such a sweet time of grieving. You’ll see that you were in mourning and your heart was broken, but your life was changing.
  • Sometimes you must hurt in order to know, fall in order to grow, lose in order to gain, because life’s greatest lessons are learnt through pain.
  • It’s time to write a new story.
  • Breathe, and have faith that everything will work out for the best.
  • Never regret anything from your past because one day, you’ll look back and thank it for hurting you so much that you decided to become a stronger human being.
  • It takes a strong heart to love, but it takes an even strong heart to continue loving after it’s been hurt.
  • Be patient. Sometimes you have to go through the worst to get to the best.
  • Not all storms come to disrupt your life. Some come to clear your path.
  • Believe it can be done. When you believe something can be done, really believe, you mind will find a way to do it. Believing a solution paves the way to the solution.
  • There are no limits to what you can accomplish, except the limits you place on your own thinking.
  • Hope rises like a phoenix from the ashes of shattered dreams.
  • Write down the life you want to see, and you’ll begin to live it.
  • What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.
  • You must go through the short-term pain to reach long-term gains. A meaningful life is about growth, not comfort.
  • New beginnings and new opportunities are on the way. You just have to keep seeing and believing beyond your current circumstances.
  • Be okay with not knowing for sure what might come next, but know that whatever it is, you will be okay.
  • What is coming is better than what is gone.
  • Don’t cry because they left. Smile because they gave you an opportunity to find something better.
  • You are so much stronger than you think.
  • You are amazing as you are. Strong than you know. More beautiful than you think.
  • If we are willing to walk fearlessly and tenderly into the crucible of a painful ending, we will find gifts waiting for us there that we never could have seen had we continued clinging to the safety of the familiar. ~Craig Hamilton

LETTING GO

  • One of the hardest things to do in life, is letting go of what you thought was real.
  • The more anger you hold in your heart toward the past, the less capable you are of loving the present.
  • They let you go a long time ago. Take a deep breath because now it’s your turn to let them go.
  • Do you think whoever hurt you is holding on this much?
  • You don’t always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go, and see what happens.
  • One of the happiest moments in life is when you find the courage to let go of what you cannot change.
  • It takes strength to hold on. It takes even more strength to let go.
  • Letting go means to come to the realization that some people are part of your history, but not part of your destiny.
  • The worst battle is between what you know and what you feel.
  • Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be.
  • Closure happens right after you accept that letting go and moving on is more important than projecting a fantasy of how the relationship could have been.
  • The minute you stop caring what others think, is the minute you start being yourself.
  • Maybe you only needed him to love you for a short period of time. Now go love yourself.
  • You only struggle because you’re ready to grow but aren’t willing to let go.
  • With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose. ~Wayne Dyer
  • Don't try to walk back through a closed door. Open a new one and continue on your way.
  • Letting go doesn’t mean giving up. It means accepting that there are things that cannot be.
  • The beautiful thing about letting go of what is not meant for you is that you are creating space for something more exciting and new.
  • If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it’s yours. If it doesn’t, it never was yours to begin with.
  • Let go of the illusion that it could have been different.
  • It’s time to write a new story.
  • Whatever is worrying you right now, forget about it. Take a deep breath, stay positive and know that things will get better.
  • You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them. ~Maya Angelou
  • Losing is the price we pay for living. It is also the source of much of our growth and gain. ~Judith Viorst

MOVING FORWARD

  • Now is the best time to start working for the life you want.
  • When they leave, let them.
  • You can’t heal if you keep going back to what hurt you.
  • Don’t fear failure. Fear being in the exact same place next year as you are today.
  • New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.
  • The only closure you need is knowing that you deserve better.
  • Change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and gorgeous at the end.
  • Sometimes it takes heartbreak to shake us awake and help us see we are worth so much more than we’re settling for.
  • Take all the time you need to heal emotionally. Moving on doesn’t take a day. It takes lot of little steps to be able to break free of your broken self.
  • Choose to tell the truth, even if you’ve been lied to. Choose to love again even after heartbreak. Never let anything stop you from learning and growing.
  • You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks or months over-analyzing a situation, trying to put the pieces together. Or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move on.
  • Sometimes your heart needs more time to accept something that your mind already knows.
  • Just because you miss someone doesn’t mean you need them back in your life. Missing is just a part of moving on.
  • It’s not who you are that holds you back; it’s who you think you’re not.
  • Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy.
  • One day, you will be proud that you made it through this.
  • And just like the Phoenix rose from the ashes, she too will rise. Returning from the flames, clothed in nothing but her strength, more beautiful than ever before.
  • Keep going, even when you feel like you can't take another step.
  • Don't get mad. Don't get even. Do better. Much better. Rise above. Become so engulted in your own success that you forget it ever happened.
  • Thinking the same thought over and over again leads nowhere. It is like moving in a circle, instead of going forward.
  • No amount of anxiety can change the future. No amount of regret can change the past.
  • Cry. Forgive. Learn. Move on. Let your tears water the seeds of your future happiness.
  • They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them for yourself. ~Andy Warhol

  • Sorrow fully accepted brings its own gifts. For there is an alchemy in sorrow. It can be transmuted into wisdom, which, if it does not bring joy, can yet bring happiness. ~Pearl S. Buck

RELATIONSHIPS

  • You might feel like you’ve lost them. But someday they’ll realize they lost everything.
  • People come and go. In the end you will always have yourself.
  • If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it’s yours forever. If it doesn’t, then it was never meant to be.
  • You don’t deserve someone who comes back, you deserve someone who never leaves.
  • Someone who overthinks is also someone who over-loves.
  • Forgiving people isn’t always about giving them another chance. It’s for closure so you can have another chance.
  • I never knew how strong I was until I had to forgive someone who wasn’t sorry and accept an apology I never received.
  • The sign of true forgiveness is when you stop wishing it had been any other way.
  • Everything that you are is enough.
  • I think that saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless. ~ Robin Williams

  • Don’t feel sad over someone who gave up on you, feel sorry for them because they gave up on someone who would never have given up on them.
  • I will never regret you or say I wish I’d never met you. Because once upon a time, you were exactly what I needed.
